FPS fans finally have a showcase of their own.
The FPS Games Show, presented by Bulkhead (the studio behind WARDOGS), debuts on Thursday, September 3, 2026. It is a pre-recorded, FPS-only event built for shooter players — trailers, gameplay, updates, vlogs, and reveals — instead of mixing shooters into a giant multi-genre lineup.

What the Show Is
The FPS Games Show is a first-of-its-kind collaborative showcase. Studios are participating for free — no paid placements and no marketing spend required to appear.
Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer said FPS games have been a cornerstone of the industry for more than three decades, but that audience has often been underserved when it comes to a dedicated place for news and reveals. The show is meant to change that by putting FPS games, communities, and players at the center.

Why Bulkhead Built It
Reporting around the announcement said Bulkhead was quoted a very high price for a short trailer slot at a major industry showcase. Instead of paying it, the studio built its own FPS-focused event and invited other developers to join without a buy-in.
Twitch is supporting participating communities. Steam is also running a related third-party event with selected titles, including discounts, free demos, and free weekends.
