Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is Less Than 30 Days Away – Will it happen?

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is set to release in less than 30 days on August 13, 2026. After a hugely successful Open Beta with over 350,000 players, the studio has been noticeably quiet in the final stretch while focusing on performance and polish. Jungle warfare, new vehicles, helicopters, patrol boats, and asymmetric gameplay are coming, and we’ve already added Hell Let Loose: Vietnam to the supported games on the MilSim Units platform.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is Less Than 30 Days Away – Launch Set for August 13, 2026

The jungle is calling.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is now less than 30 days from launch on August 13, 2026, for PC (Steam & Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Physical editions will follow shortly after.

After a highly successful Open Beta that drew over 350,000 players, the team at Expression Games and publisher Team17 made the difficult decision to delay the original June 18 date. The extra time has been used to address performance, stability, and gameplay polish based on player feedback and internal testing.

Why the Studio Has Been Relatively Quiet Lately

Since the delay announcement on June 2, the development team has been noticeably quiet on major updates. While there have been a few smaller community updates and hotfixes for the base Hell Let Loose game, many players have noted the lack of substantial Vietnam-specific news in the final stretch before launch.

This radio silence has created a mix of anticipation and slight nervousness in the community. On one hand, it suggests the team is heads-down focused on delivering a stronger product. On the other, many are hoping for more frequent communication, new trailers, or detailed patch notes as we approach the August 13 launch.

The developers have promised continued updates in the coming weeks, so we expect more information to ramp up soon.

What to Expect in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam brings the acclaimed 50v50 large-scale formula into one of history’s most brutal and unforgiving conflicts. Players can look forward to:

  • Dense Jungle Warfare -Thick vegetation, limited visibility, and deadly ambushes that will completely change how battles are fought compared to the open fields of WWII.
  • New Vehicles & Combined Arms - Helicopters, armed patrol boats, and other Vietnam-era assets that enable dynamic river and air operations.
  • Asymmetric Factions - Expanded roles for U.S. forces and the resourceful NVA (North Vietnamese Army), creating unique tactical challenges for both sides.
  • Immersive Atmosphere - Dynamic weather, day/night cycles, authentic sound design, and intense jungle tension.
  • 6 Large-Scale Maps -Inspired by real-world locations, with dramatic terrain and multiple weather variants.

The game continues Hell Let Loose’s core philosophy: success depends on teamwork, communication, and smart decision-making rather than individual heroics.
